Let’s Get Together

This April we invite you to join creative tech founders and previous Velocity cohort members as they address the impact tech entrepreneurs have had on MORE than just the creative economy!

Margot Toppen, co-founder of EduMotion, and Stella Aguirre, founder of Audiciones Latinas hit the creative tech scene passionate about changing it for the better! Both founders were participants in CCE’s annual creative accelerator.

EduMotion energizes schools and communities by fostering inclusion, respect and social awareness through the joy of movement. In 2018, EduMotion was a participant in the accelerator which helped propel “SEL Journeys,” a new digital learning platform to the next level of growth. This creative tech solution empowers educators nationally to integrate social emotional learning and movement into their school day. During Margot’s 15+ year career she’s worked at the intersection of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), arts, and physical education.

Audiciones Latinas connects the best artists with the best jobs! Meet, Stella Aguirre, the entrepreneur who created ‘LinkedIn for artists’. Audiciones Latinas is a creative platform that connects Hispanic creatives to work in the performing arts. Streamlining everything for casting directors, artists, producers and gig-workers in Latin America. As an actress and graphic designer Stella had the foundation to shape this platform that now has more than 45k registered users!

It is well documented that entrepreneurs play an important role in contributing to a country’s prosperity. By engaging in innovative activities, entrepreneurs help to bring new and improved technologies into broad usage, facilitating economic growth and disrupting existing technologies.
