MEET JUNE’s IDEATORS
Joe Carrol, rep from Bank OZK and seasoned senior banking leader experienced in bank operations, branch management, commercial and retail lending and cash management. Over the years, Carrol has excelled individually as well as in teams to accomplish the “right things”.
Carrol’s objective has always been to put himself and his teammates in the shoes of the client in order to understand, strategically aligning products and services that deliver benefits and value. As a consultative advisor, there are times when meeting a client’s needs goes beyond the product. Carrol says, “At times, the real need is to be a good listener and use the benefit of experience to make them aware of best practices and/or help make beneficial connections.”
Calvin Williams, founder of FreemanCapital.co and the first African American owner of an automated wealth management platform for retail customers. As the CEO of FreemanCapital.co, he aims to close the wealth gap in overlooked communities across the country through increasing access to financial planning, investment management, and financial education.
Since age 12, Williams has had an entrepreneurial spirit; as a freshman at North Carolina Agricultural & State University, Williams began designing websites for non-profit organizations, was Student Body President and before graduation, he started XMG Online and built web applications for numerous organizations over the next 9 years. During that time he was named one of the youngest 40 Leaders Under 40 by the Greensboro Business Journal.
Williams is an avid reader, enjoys traveling, snowboarding and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
