On December 10 at 12 pm, join CCE and their NYC colleagues from the New Museum for an inspiring conversation around human centered design. The instigators will be Karen Wong, the Deputy Director of the New Museum in NYC, and Krystal Persaud, founder of Group Hug Solar and a local Winston-Salem based entrepreneur. These founders utilize human centered design and creativity in their businesses. Truly creative entrepreneurs.

The Center for Creative Economy is collaborating with IdeasCity Winston-Salem to continue the conversations presented in the Beta Bonfire series hosted by Wake Forest University and New Museum’s New Inc.

Karen Wong Deputy Director of the New Museum, in NYC where she helped build its renowned reputation for entrepreneurial platforms for new art and new ideas. She is a co-founder of the IdeasCity initiative.

Krystal Persaud – Founder of Group Hug Solar – is obsessed with developing products that fall in the intersection of education, technology, and society. Anything else is not worth designing!

Adam Sebastian, Architect + Designer at Stitch Design Shop in Winston-Salem, NC, where they believe that good design is obvious, but great design is transparent and they build ideas.

On October 8th, Wake Forest launched the IdeasCity Beta Bonfires with a conversation around Rethinking Norms and how creative entrepreneurs look at the world around them and see it as an editable landscape ripe for creative intervention.

We were inspired and want to continue these conversations and catalyze more WS designers, artists and creatives thinking, making, and doing!

Don’t miss this amazing collection of talent. Register now.
